so, I couldn't decide on just a few pictures so here are more.

Oh, where does the time go ???? I can't believe how grown up you are Hannah!! It makes me a little sad :( . You PROMISED you would never grow up ! Well, I guess you can't help it...we all do it, like it or not. You have always been the spark of our family. We love your enthusiam for life and for always being a joyful, happy girl. You make us laugh and smile and remind us that life is to be lived well and enjoyed completely. We Love you!!!! we hope you have a wonderful day!!!

Biker Babes..like father like daughters

Sunday we celebrated Tim's birthday and Erin and Mike and Casey and Natalie were able to be here to have dinner with us (smoked BBQ of course). After dinner Tim let Erin take his beloved motorcycle out for a spin..he was a bit nervous but she did great (but get a helmet Erin). Gracie then had to take a ride on my scooter (just up and down our street). We had a fun visit with everyone.

It was also the first day of school on Monday. Hannah had her first day the Friday before since she is 7th grade and just starting Jr. High...ugh, I can't stand it!! :( So far all is well and they love it...we'll see how long that lasts until the whinning about homework begins!

And I started back to work with a regular schedule this week. I am no longer "per diem" with the luxury of deciding if I want to work a shift or not...oh well I guess that's life. I am grateful to have a job and work with good people.

THE AUGUST BIRTHDAY'S CONTINUE...TIM IS SPENDING HIS BIRTHDAY IN THE MOUNTAINS ON THE BOW HUNT (RUN BAMBI, RUN!!) . I THINK HE NEEDED A BREAK FROM THE STEADY FLOW OF ESTROGEN IN OUR HOUSE....SO TIM, WE ARE ALL WISHING YOU A HAPPY BIRTHDAY AND HOPE YOU'RE HAVING A GREAT TIME. WE LOVE YOU AND DON'T KNOW WHAT WE WOULD DO WITHOUT YOU!!! ...SORRY ABOUT THE SAIL BOAT...MAYBE NEXT YEAR ?!

Sunday afternoon we had a few minutes of rain. We were eating dinner and it was raining but the sun was shining too so I snapped off a couple of pictures. I don't think it quite captured how pretty it was but it was beautiful. After dinner Hannah the Slug Hunter went to work in the garden beds (yuck! I hate the slimey things) ...I don't know how she stands touching them....

I can't believe its August already :(.....time goes too fast.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY WENDY!!!!!!

Today is Tim's sister Wendys' birthday...she is the coolest sister, mom, aunt, daugther, friend and soon to be mother-in-law EVER. She is always so much fun to be with and makes everyone around her feel good. She is so talented at anything she puts her hand to weather its teaching pre-school or helping Dave run his business, or being Primary President. If you need something planned, organized and pulled off with out-a hitch with style and class she's your gal. She and Dave have done an amazing job raising their four kids ..they've worked so hard to help them achieve their goals and dreams...I love her "you can do anything you put your mind to" attitude.

IT'S HERE!!!!!!!

I took the girls and some of their friends to the "Breaking Dawn" book launch last night. They had parties going on all over the country celebrating the new Stephenie Meyer book, so we went to Barnes and Noble for a pajama party. The girls had a great time and finally just after midnight the book was in their hands....This morning Gracie said she finished it (although I found her unconcious about 1:45 am, book open and her face down on top of it!!) I've sworn her to secrecy about it. They had a great time!!!
